Diorskin Nude BB Cream

I’m officially a Dior convert. I avoided even trying these higher end / department store brands for so long because everything I did try was really good, but always really expensive (like my Chanel moisturizer). But when I got this foundation it was “love at first try”. Naturally, when I found out the new product in the Diorskin Nude line was a BB Cream I went “yes, please!”

What’s good about it

• It provides a really amazing glow! My skin looks healthy and radiant when I apply
• It lasts relatively all day and it does feel like it protects the skin from the elements. My skin remains soft and supple after I spend a whole day outside while wearing this product
• Smells divine! Just by putting it on, I automatically feel super luxurious and gorgeous! I really believe it’s the subtle floral fragrance on it
• You don’t need a lot of product and you get a pretty good size, so it should last a very long time
• Luckily this is a widely available brand. Pretty much every higher end department store will carry this brand, as well as most parfumeries and beauty stores (but you should buy via my shop. You get free worldwide delivery, too!)

What’s not so good about it

• There are only 3 available shades. According to the specifications to the product it adapts to every skintone. I don’t know how this is possible for those with very fair skin, and those with medium deep to dark skin. I’m in shade 2 and I could still pull off 3, so I’m not sure about this.
• Coverage is pretty sheer, so even though you can build it up to a higher coverage, it won’t cover a lot
• If you have dry skin, you need to apply this on a very well moisturized skin, as this one runs on the dry side.

I’m not even going to tell you it’s pricey because that’s how Dior rolls. For me it’s worth it because it’s a high quality product that makes me feel fantastic! (And not high quality because of the brand, I think the product itself is super good!)
